Ronnie O’Sullivan has compared world champion Kyren Wilson to the No. 1 golfer in the world, Scottie Scheffler.

Wilson elevated his game to a new level at the end of last season when beating Jak Jones 18-14 to win the World Championship.

The 32-year-old has demonstrated that the crown sits well on his head, winning two titles in the current campaign

O’Sullivan feels Wilson has the temperament and ability to continue to win the biggest events in the sport.

"It depends how good you are, some it can destroy their career and can’t handle the pressure," O’Sullivan said in the Eurosport studio when asked about the pressures of being world champion.

"Some players who have the talent and have got the pedigree, they rise in stature and go on to win many, many things.

"I would definitely put Kyren in that bracket where [he] is going to win many, many more big tournaments."
